Background

Orna is a newly founded international sports tech firm who are bringing AI & technology training to the business of Sport, Betting, Gaming and Entertainment.

They approached Wibble, a leading irish web design, and web development studio, to collaborate on a web project that would be seen right across the globe.

The Problem

Orna, being a start up, had no digital presence. Wibble, being a leading web design agency on the Island of Ireland, were utilised by Orna to design, develop, launch and support a rapidly changing website environment as the business launched and grew.

what we did

A brand identity along with messaging and tone of voice had been developed by a leading external brand agency. We worked within their brand guidelines their apply the vibrant and complex guides to the digital offering. Working with our CMS of choice, WordPress, we designed and developed a completely bespoke web design offering with accessibility, usability and mobile-readiness at the heart of the site.

Wibble undertook all requirements for a complex web design and development project: information architecture, wireframes, content mapping, on-page SEO, technical SEO, cross browser compatibility, responsiveness along with hundreds of other key requirements.

Our strength lies in custom WordPress design and development and we built the entire site from scratch utilising Gutenberg as the page builder. The native WordPress block editor is our editor of choice as opposed to third party page builders – allowing for future proofing and better adherence to accessibility with more control over site speed and customisation.

Wibble don’t outsource, so the entire project was run from our Belfast web design studio. We delivered a future proof, responsive and accessible website built entirely from scratch in WordPress. We created secure login areas and a platform for this new start up to build landing pages for campaigns. They now have the ability to rapidly generate content to help with SEO and search engine crawling, indexing and ranking.

Orna are in a, ironically, competitive industry but Wibble have given them the platform to compete with the big guys. They are utilising the website to deliver their message to a global audience using a website built for speed, usability and is future proofed to support the client going forward.
