Trust the process

This is the first part of our well-rehearsed web design and web development process. After our initial consultation with you, we create this document. A high-level summary, if you will, for our understanding of the project with the estimate to complete the work included.

We make a spec doc, the client approves it and we invoice for 30% once the doc is agreed. Once the payment is made, we move onto design. The spec contains full details of what the site will do, our SLA, payments terms etc – everything you need to know about your new website project.

We design a concept on how we think the website should look and feel. This is the time to voice any issues on our vision for the website. Once the design is signed off, we invoice for 30% and move onto development, once payment is made. Now that we know how the site will look on both desktop and mobile, our team of web developers can build it to your requirements.

We build the site as per the spec document and concept design. Every element needed is custom built and tested. The dev version of the site is pushed to a development website address for testing and content population. We invoice for 30% at this stage and once payment is made, we prepare the site for launch while content is getting added.

The site is fully developed and the content is added in. Testing takes place by client and developers in preparation for the switch over to the live site. Adding real-life content makes the testing process a much more realistic task. We run through our pre-launch checklist as we ready the site for go live.

The site is launched into the wild. It is publicly accessible to all. We monitor test and the Wibble Support Package will start straight away. We invoice for the remaining 10%. We run through our post-launch checklist that has 100+ checkpoints that we test the site against.
