Wibble recognised as “The Best Place to Work”

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Wibble has been honoured with the “Best Place to Work” award at the prestigious Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards. The ceremony took place last week in the beautiful Titanic Building in Belfast and it was an unforgettable evening for all of us at Wibble.

Winning this award is a testament to the dedication and hard work put in place to make Wibble a great place to work. We are on a journey to make Wibble the best web design agency in Ireland and part of that journey involves making Wibble the best place for our employees to work.

The design industry is rife with agencies where pressure on staff to work late and be constantly available is commonplace. When I started Wibble, I vowed, to never follow so many traits seen in this industry. I believe I am succeeding in this.

I have always strived to create a studio that I would like to work in, where our employees feel valued, motivated and respected. This accolade is a recognition of the positive and collaborative workplace culture we have fostered over the years and the best bit is, we’re only getting going.

Our journey to becoming the best place to work has been marked by a commitment to innovation, employee well-being and professional growth. Last year, I introduced an initiative called “Making Wibble Better” which saw us introduce a number of changes to make Wibble the best web design studio in Ireland by making it the best studio to work for in Ireland. We’re small but have big aspirations and changes introduced through this initiative to staff are significant.

I am also proud to share that we were nominated for the “Best Employee Development Programme” at the same awards. Although we didn’t win this category, it was an honour to be recognised among such esteemed peers. I would like to congratulate the winners, Clearbox, for their outstanding achievement.

I would like to extend thanks to the Irish News Workplace and Employment Awards for this incredible honour. Being recognised alongside some of the most respected businesses in Northern Ireland is a privilege, and it motivates me to continue my efforts in making Wibble an even better place to work.

On top of all our success, Wibble is a place to work that puts the physical health, mental health and professional development of the staff at the heart of everything we do – without this amazing team of absolute legends, I wouldn’t be the proud owner of one of the best web studios in the north.
