Commission for victims and survivors (CVSNI)
Services
Background
The Commission represents the needs and interests of victims and survivors at the highest levels of government and throughout society.
The commission went out to public tender with their requirements through EtendersNI and we were delighted to win such an important and prestigious website project.
The Problem
Their previous website was built using an out of date CMS – their site was fundamentally difficult to use for the user and difficult to maintain for the client. Huge issues existed around site speed and security along with SEO issues meant the previous site was not fit for purpose.

what we did
Every possible element of a large web design and web development project were undertaken in this project. We carried out content mapping, information architecture, site structure, content reviews, imagery review, branding application – just to name a few. Working with the client to review and prioritise content and information gave us a great understanding of the purpose of the site and what they are trying to achieve. We designed and built the site from scratch – no elements of design or code were carried across from the previous website project.
Concept design paired with a full content mapping exercise guarantees site longevity and with the site being built using native WordPress functionality, not relying on third party site builders, future proofs the site for years to come.

the results
Wibble delivered a future-proof, built from the ground up WordPress website. All content is fully under the control of the commission with the ability to manage the function, structure and layout of content to a finite level of detail.
The site is mobile-first with accessibility built in to help with usability for all members of society.

The client loves their new website. We are now supporting the website for the next number of years under the Wibble Support Package.
We were looking to develop a UX-focussed site that would better communicate the our organisation’s role and work to key audiences. Our old site wasn’t meeting the needs of audiences who visited it; navigation was poor, design functions limited, and users didn’t stick around for very long. Working with Wibble made the task of starting from scratch feel straightforward and collaborative. They listened and understood what we were trying to do at every stage and came up with suggestions and solutions in their development that would fit what we were describing. A friendly, dynamic and really down to earth team and a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Thank you for making the process so enjoyable!
